- 1 pack of cooked beets 3 cooked beets
- 1 package of extra firm tofu
- 2 tsps salt or more, to taste
- 1 lemon juice of
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- Dark rye bread or crackers
- ½ -1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup pine nuts optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh dil optional
- Freshly cracked black pepper optional
Combine all ingredients in a blender, process until smooth.
Spread on bread or pipe with a piping bag.
Optional: top with pine nuts and mint or dill.
