- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons jalapenos, green onions optional
Mix seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
Brown ground beef in a large pan over medium heat.
Drain excess fat.
Add seasoning mix, beans, and tomatoes to the pan.
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Spread tortilla chips on a large baking sheet.
Spoon beef mixture over chips.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts.
Top with sour cream and salsa.
