Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh melon diced and seeded
  • ½ cup of lime juice freshly squeezed for the best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup or honey adjust to taste
  • ½ cup of sparkling water or any soda of your choice
  • Lime wedges and melon slices for garnish
  • Salt for rimming the glass optional
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • If using a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into salt.
  • Blend the diced melon until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if a smoother texture is preferred.
  • In a shaker or pitcher, combine the melon purée, lime juice, and agave syrup or honey. Stir to mix.
  • Gently stir in the sparkling water or soda.
  • Fill the prepared glass with ice and pour the melon mixture over the ice.
  • Garnish with lime wedges and melon slices, if desired.
