Ingredients

For pumpkin spice syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • teaspoon ground cloves

For latte:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin spice syrup
  • 1 shot espresso or ½ cup strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoon Whipped cream for topping (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • To make pumpkin spice syrup:
  • Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Whisk to mix well.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • To make pumpkin spice latte:
  • Heat milk and pumpkin puree in a saucepan.
  • Froth mixture (optional).
  • Pour espresso into a mug.
  • Add milk mixture and syrup.
  • Stir and serve.
