Fill your pitcher halfway with ice, then arrange slices of oranges and apples against the inside walls of the pitcher. Don't hesitate to use your hands to help the fruit slices adhere to the sides.
Scatter the frozen cranberries on top.
Pour in the cranberry juice and orange juice.
Stir all the ingredients together and refrigerate until you're ready to serve, and for at least 1 hour. This allows the flavors to blend together.
Just before serving, add in the soda for some fizz.
Fill glasses with ice and pour the mocktail over the ice, making sure each glass gets fruit slices.
If desired, garnish with additional orange slices or a few more cranberries for a nice visual touch.
Expert Notes
For a fizzier drink, add more soda to taste. If you prefer a sweeter mocktail, consider using sprite or ginger ale in place of soda, or adding a splash of simple syrup or agave. To make it ahead of time, combine all ingredients except soda and ice; refrigerate. Add soda just before serving for maximum fizz. Try different fruits like pears or peaches for variety. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra pop of flavor and color.
