Instructions
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 tablespoon hot water
1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
2 tablespoon pistachio spread
Instructions:
Sift matcha powder into a mug.
Add hot water to matcha. Whisk until smooth.
Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming, not boiling.
Add honey to the matcha mixture and stir.
Pour heated milk into the mug, stirring gently.
Warm pistachio spread in microwave for 10 seconds to soften.
Swirl 1-2 tablespoons of pistachio spread into the latte.
Top with remaining pistachio spread, and stir it in
OPTIONAL: Add a bit of whipped cream and more matcha powder on top for an extra fancy touch.
Serve immediately.
